Value-Based Payment and Care Delivery
Our Position
Value-Based Payment and Care Delivery system reform is how we ensure that the right medical care gets to the right person at the right time and at the right price. That simple mission is a complex task.
Value-Based Payment and Care Delivery system reform encompasses many of health care’s most exciting and innovative ideas. Data and technology to inform care. New ways to organize medical practices. New ways to pay for share and share risk.
Patients deserve a health care system centered around their needs and focused first and foremost on delivering affordable, evidence-based care that works.
Health insurance providers are working in partnership with physician organizations, hospitals, and other important stakeholders to move toward a health care system that puts patients at the center.
