AHIP’s Board of Directors has elected Pat Geraghty, President and CEO of GuideWell and Florida Blue, to serve a second term as Board Chair, effective January 1, 2025.

“As an industry, we’re fortunate to continue to benefit from Pat’s deep experience and steady leadership as we remain focused on advancing policies that make health care more affordable and more accessible for Americans,” said Mike Tuffin, AHIP President and CEO.

GuideWell is a $30 billion mission-driven health solutions company headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida and is the parent to Florida Blue, Triple-S Management, GuideWell Health, Emcara Health, GuideWell Source, and WebTPA.

Geraghty was the architect of the strategic restructuring that created GuideWell from the foundation of a 80-year-old health insurance company, transforming it into a health solutions organization at the forefront of reimagining the future of health in America.
