Dan Meuse is the Deputy Director of State Health and Value Strategies, a program of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation based at Princeton University’s Center for Health and Wellbeing. In this role, Dan assists in managing and coordinating technical assistance for states as they seek to transform their healthcare systems. He also works with states to identify their assistance needs and policy goals. Dan focuses on new policy development, including Section 1332 waivers, innovative coverage options and alternative payment models.
Dan was deeply involved in the implementation of the Affordable Care Act at the state level as the principal subject matter expert for the Rhode Island Healthcare Reform Commission on health insurance exchanges and project director for the State Innovation Model (SIM). Dan serves as a Lecturer in Public Affairs at the Princeton School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University.
