Dr. Eugene E. Wright, Jr. holds an appointment as Consulting Associate in the Department of Medicine of Duke University Medical Center. He has 40+ years of clinical experience as a private practitioner, academic clinician and educator, medical administrator, a rural physician in southeastern NC and a volunteer physician. He has been working with the South Piedmont AHEC in Performance Improvement since 2018. Dr. Wright also serves as an Associate Editor of Clinical Diabetes.
