Julia Twaddle
Vice President, Payment Integrity, HMS, a Gainwell Technologies Company
Julia Twaddle is Vice President of Payment Integrity for HMS, a Gainwell Technologies Company. She oversees a suite of products, including the anti-fraud platform, FraudCapture®. With a passion for uncovering fraud, she also oversees the end-to-end investigations and audit process and acts as a liaison, consultant and subject matter expert (SME) on areas of fraud, waste and abuse. Julia has more than 20 years of investigative experience, with special focus on health care fraud and government programs.
In her prior work, she has served as a consultant, private investigator, SIU Manager, SURS Medicaid Investigator, healthcare professions investigator and insurance market conduct examiner. Julia is the former president of the Midwest Insurance Fraud Prevention Association (MIFPA). She earned her bachelor's degree from Miami University of Ohio and is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE).
