Keavney Klein serves as Senior Counsel in Kaiser Permanente’s national Government Relations department. As part of Kaiser Permanente’s health policy and advocacy team, Keavney leads the organization’s policy development work across state and federal jurisdictions and issue areas and leads Kaiser Permanente’s policy and advocacy engagement in Medicare, acute care at home, provider networks and other timely health policy issues.
Prior to joining Kaiser Permanente in 2012, Keavney was an attorney at Alston & Bird LLP in Washington, DC, where she counseled and represented clients across the health care industry on Medicare, Medicaid and Affordable Care Act policy and regulatory issues.
Keavney received her Bachelor of Science in Health Studies and her Juris Doctor from Georgetown University. Keavney is based in and a native of Washington, DC.
