Laurie L. Lincoln, PharmD, BCPS
Senior Vice President, Pharmaceutical Care Programs, Capital District Physicians’ Health Plan, Inc. (CDPHP®)
Laurie Lincoln joined CDPHP in 2010 and currently serves as senior vice president, pharmaceutical care programs. In this role, Laurie leads a team of pharmacy professionals whose primary goal is to ensure CDPHP members have access to high-quality, affordable medications.
Laurie and her team focus their time and energy on the development of evidence-based policies and prescription drug formularies created with the help of local, practicing physicians who share in the CDPHP mission of improving the quality, affordability, and experience of care for our members and their patients. Laurie’s team places a heightened emphasis on proactive literature evaluation, data analysis and discussions regarding therapeutic strategies surrounding the availability of innovative treatments, such as gene therapy, orphan drugs, and personalized medicine. The CDPHP pharmacy team focuses on quality program initiatives, such as HEDIS and Medicare Stars, as well as strategies including specialty pharmacy care management, medication reconciliation, and transitions of care. Laurie also works closely with the health plan’s member health, product innovation, government affairs, and provider contracting teams.
Prior to joining CDPHP, Laurie held clinical and administrative positions at several not-for-profit hospital organizations. Laurie earned a Bachelor of Science degree in pharmacy and a Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Rhode Island. She is also a board-certified pharmacotherapy specialist. Laurie is a member of the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy and the American College of Clinical Pharmacy. She has also served as adjunct faculty at several colleges of pharmacy.
