Dr. Nancy Chiles Shaffer is a Technical Director in the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services Office of Minority Health (CMS OMH) in the Data Analytics and Research Group. In this role, she works across CMS and with other Agencies to develop, strategize, and implement initiatives to improve CMS health equity data collection, as well as access to, and analysis of CMS data. Dr. Chiles Shaffer earned her MS in Epidemiology and PhD in Gerontology from the University of Maryland, Baltimore.
