Vardini Vishwanathan

In her current role, Vardini serves as the Chief Clinical Digital Officer of Elevance Health’s 6000+ person Clinical Operations organization. She oversees 20+ digital health products whose goal is reimagining consumer experiences with a blend of digital, AI and process management practices, thereby improving population health outcomes and quality of care, optimizing medical cost and delivering operational efficiency. She is passionate about creating and implementing differentiated digital health products that exceed customer experience expectations and deliver to clinical strategy objectives. She brings deep strategy and operations leadership experience in health plan management, including Population Health, Care Management, Utilization Management, Contracting, and Value-based Care.

Vardini is skilled at operating at the nexus of digital technologies, AI/LLM and healthcare operations to deliver purposeful innovation. She is equally strong at setting a bold vision, defining strategy, and detailed execution to realize tangible business results. She enjoys setting the bar high and taking accountability to build, lead and inspire high-performing teams that realize their mission of making healthcare better each day.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, and an MBA (High Honors) from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. She enjoys hiking especially when the mountains meet the beach, as they often do in her home location of San Francisco Bay Area, and in her other favorite part of the planet – Hawaii.
