On February 19, 2019, AHIP submitted comments on the Department of Health and Human Services’ (HHS) Notice of Benefit and Payment Parameters for 2020 proposed rule. Our comments emphasize AHIP’s commitment to promoting a stable market and ensuring Americans have access to affordable, comprehensive coverage. Due to the late publication of the proposed rule, we urge the Department not to make major policy changes at this late date and publish the final rule as soon as possible.
