CHIP: Federal Funding Should Be Renewed

We urge Congress to authorize a five-year funding extension of the Children’s Health
Insurance Program (CHIP), consistent with recommendations of the Medicaid and
CHIP Payment and Access Commission (MACPAC). During this time of transition for
the nation’s health care system, it is more important than ever to maintain coverage
for children.
