About This Webinar

Migraine is a complex, chronic disease that results in significant patient and economic burden. Migraine ranks second worldwide in terms of years lost due to disability, so it is really important to appropriately manage a migraine attack with an acute treatment. Two of the main goals of acute treatment for migraine are to improve function and to have rapid and consistent freedom from pain and associated symptoms, especially the most bothersome symptom, without recurrence. Treating early in the migraine attack is a key approach to accomplishing the primary goals of acute treatment by reducing the severity of migraine symptoms.

This webinar will address the early treatment of a migraine attack by reviewing prodrome Phase 3 efficacy and safety data.

Attendees Will Learn About

  • The complexity of migraine disease and the burden of the disease as it relates to function
  • The migraine treatment landscape with a focus on an acute treatment option for a migraine attack
