About This Webinar

The facts are clear. Every year, tens of thousands of fewer nurses enter the workforce than are needed. In 2020-2021, 100,000 left the industry—a sizeable portion of whom were under 35 and who might have otherwise remained in the industry for decades . The nurse staffing challenge is only deepening. The industry cannot operate as it has been anymore.

We’re told that artificial intelligence can help care management staff do more with less, all while reducing errors, but we’ve been hearing this for a few years now. Why hasn’t AI transformed care management yet? Health plans are hungry for greater efficiency to address value-based goals and modern challenges. But the potential risks have led many to demur at the risk of inaccuracy or bias. Meanwhile, patients balk at privacy implications and quality concerns. And overlaying it all is an uncertain regulatory future.

In this webinar, our panel of experts—representing both nurse clinicians and AI experts—will discuss barriers preventing adoption, ethical considerations, and practical solutions to those barriers. Join us to gain a new perspective on how care management can achieve the promise of AI.

In this webinar, our experts will:

  • Discuss the barriers – both real and perceived – to AI adoption for care management
  • Explore ways to overcome those challenges and advance health plans down the road of AI efficiency and value
  • Share "quick wins" care management professionals can gain with AI, as well as the progression to more complicated uses
